MICHAEL BRENNAN
Michael Brennan is a Melbourne-based artist and gonzo curator of sorts. His work typically focuses on perception, experience and the slippage between plural perspectives and different points-of-view. He has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions across the country and his work has been included in a number of significant prizes including the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship, the Metro Art Prize and the Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. In 2007 Michael was awarded an Australia Council for the Arts studio residency in Tokyo. His work appears in private collections in Australia, Europe and the United States and he is also represented in the Artbank collection.
